Lately, lots of money has been going into firearms (fascinating, but expensive) and therefore I'm checking which edged weapons I do not actually use. This axe is one of them. Lately it has just been lying around, and I don't usually keep anything for decoration purposes only.
It is a modified, one handed version of the Arms & Armor Hungarian Axe. The handle is shortened and tapered, the axe head is ground down to reduce weight, and the three holes are filled up. As always, A&A did an excellent job there.
Overall length: 68 cm (26 4/5 inch)
Handle length: 50 cm (19 1/2 inch)
Weight: 935 g (2 lbs)
There is one wear mark on the wooden handle, which you can see on the photo. Other than that I looks new. I have used it only a couple of times for some test cutting.
Price:
Because of the modifications 90 EUR / 130 USD sounds appropriate to me.
