I have a Cas/Iberia "Sir William Marshall Sword" for sale. The sword itself is in almost new condition. The blade has been sharpened once by a professional, it's much sharper than the retail blade. It is a forged high-carbon blade, tempered to HRC 54. I have always kept it oiled and protected.
The sheathe has some wear marks from traveling back and forth from the salle. Asking $250. Hate to see it go but need money for a custom basket-hilt. The blade is wonderful, would make a great base for custom work. It makes a great cutting blade for I.33, very powerful in the cut. I've only cut pool noodles with it once.
Specifications:
Overall length: 40“
Blade length: 33 1/4“
Handle length: 6 3/4”
Weight: 2lb 2oz
Point of Balance: 8" (from pommel)
Point of Percussion: 23"
Width at Guard: 1.83"
Width at Tip: .91"
Thickness at Guard: .22"
Thickness at Tip: .18"
As a plug for M. Eversberg II, this sword makes a great companion piece to the practical he's selling.
