I believe this rapier has been discontinued from the MRL catalogue for a while. It is one of the nicer pieces that I have seen from Windlass, and is the last and nicest of my lower-budget swords, I am only parting with it to help pay for a commission that is coming due soon.
The blade is narrow but stiff, with unsharpened edges typical of Windlass/MRL rapiers. It is fairly petite feeling but has good length and balance. It is dismountable and the tang is surprisingly stout compared to others I have seen. A practice blade could be mounted very easily.
I bought it second hand but was told it had not been used other than for handling/display and the condition confirms this. It has hung on my wall since I got it. There is some minor rust spotting on the hilt and pommel and a few very light scuffs on the blade but these are not drasitc enough to show up well in pictures, overall condition is excellent.
