This is a robust field sword inspired by illustrations in the 1467 printing of Talhoffer, including the equestrian combat shown below.
This is a recent project that has to go--either to raise funds for an incoming EBE piece or as a trade to enlarge my German collection. The blade is from a Windlass "Munich" sword. Pommel is Del Tin. Cross is Albion. The scabbard is of the proper style--thin leather over custom-fit wood core. Suspension is not included with this piece, but the single-knot German style would be correct for this, so all you need is a long narrow belt. An "English lead" dog leash should be fine for waists up to about "40. Above that, you'd need to have a leather shop cut you a belt.
$300 shipped in CONUS.
I'm always interested in trades, as well. Right now, in this value range, I'm primarily interested in a 15th c. two-piece breast with fauld. A good piece in rough condition is ideal for me, if the sizing is right (I'm 6'1", 185, 35" waist, 42reg suit).
