The scabbard is a soft leather construction. I got it made so that I could transport the sword, its not that sturdy, but a lot better than moving a bare blade around. My plan was to get ASA to make a sheath, but haven't had the money free yet. With Albion raising prices again this year, the is a hack of a price for a sword in great condition. I hate to let it go, but I know my new job will give me the opportunity to get another down the road, need cash now.
