Hey All...
I am trying to raise money to update the audio-visual equipment I use in my classroom. I need to sell several of my swords to do this. I am offering the Arbedo sword that I customized a couple of years ago. The pommel and guard have been slightly reshaped and refinished. The grip core has been built-up with J.B. Weld and completely reshaped. It has been given a cord under wrap and covered in burgundy leather. The guard and pommel were browned with Birchwood Casey Plum Browning Solution. The blade as been aged with a mustard treatment which looks nice but can be easily removed with very fine sandpaper. (In other words the blade has never been rusted, just darkened with mustard. There are no pits. As a matter of fact the mustard actually gives a very fine polish.)
Here are the measurements:
Weight: 2 pounds 13 ounces
Overall Length: 39.75 inches
Blade Length: 31 inches
Fullers: None
Guard Width: 8.25 inches
Grip and Pommel Length: 8.25 inches
Grip Length: 6 inches
Point of Balance: 3.25 inches from guard
Center of Percussion: 18 inches from guard
If you are interested there is an old thread called "Arbedo Redo" about the customization of this sword:

There are also more pictures on this thread.
I have seen several of MRLs Arbedo swords and this one has a much better fit of the hilt components than anything I have seen. The blade has the typical MRL forging ripples in the blade. The sword is unsharpened and comes with a scabbard
My asking price is $260 plus shipping. Preferred payment by money order.
Please PM me if you are interested.
Thanks
