I need to sell this sword to cover the cost of another purchase. This is a reproduction of a late 17th century cutlass pictured in Neumann's Swords and Blades of the American Revolution.
The blade and hilt are hand forged. The grip is bone dyed black. I am asking $300 plus $15 shipping in CONUS. Price includes leather scabbard and baldrick.
Please see attached thread for photos and discussion about this great piece. Note there is a photo of the scabbard and baldrick towards the bottom of the thread. http://www.myArmoury.com/talk/viewtopic.php?t=3748&highlight=

I am very interested. Can you tell me how sharp the blade is? Also, would you take a personal check?
You can PM me back with info, or just reply to this thread.
Regards, Michael
Michael,
Thanks for your interest. The blade is not sharpened, as it was intended for reenacting. However, I should add that I have used this sword for cutting demonstrations on cantaloupe and pumpkins, and it does extremely well! The curved falchion style blade just begs to be cut with. It would not take much to put a nice edge on the sword, if desired.
I can take personal checks, although I will need to hold off on shipping the sword until the check has cleared. With money orders I can ship right away.
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Regards,
Chris
Just sent you another PM.
Sold pending payment.
