For sale a beautiful Del Tin sword 2150, Sword of Ester Visconti of Milan (see this website for review), early Fifteenth Century. Strong triangle shaped, diamond section steel blade. Straight cross-guard, bent towards the point at its ends. Copper rain protection decorated with flower patterns. Heavy fig-shaped iron pommel. Wire-bound wooden grip. Overall length 93cm. Weight 1600gm.The blade is NOT sharpenned and the sword has not been used for anything other than display.
Also, Del Tin 5155 Gothic Hand-and-a-half 15th Century interpretation of a sword held in the Royal Armouries Museum in Leeds, with shortened diamond section steel blade. Slightly “S” shaped cross guard in steel with open-works motifs. Steel wheel pommel. Wooden grip bound in part with leather, the remaining upper portion covered with twisted steel wire. Overall length 118,5 cm weight 1300 gr. Again a beautiful sword, unsharpenned and never used.
Both swords are being sold because I can no longer display them, and would like to see them go to someone who can really appreciate them.
