First Quarter of 16th Century Germany
Double-edged blade with three large and two small fullers, s-shaped quillons with ball finials, flared fungus-shaped pommel merging flush into wooden grip.
Overall length: 36.5"
Weight: 3.5 pounds
Width of guard: 4.75" x 5.5" oval
Blade: 30.75" long; 1.5" wide tapering to 1.25"
Fullers: 3 @ 25.25"; 2 @ 1.375"
Grip and pommel: 5.5"
Point of Balance (PoB): 4" from guard
Center of Percussion (CoP): ~20" from guard
Has leather scabbard, straps, and belt.
Blade has been sharpened by Art Elwell to a medium-sharp edge.
Current price from Lutel is 10,900 CZK, which at the moment of this post converts to $409 US. You'd also be paying about $40 US more for wire transfer fees and you'd wait for 3-5 months to receive the sword. If you buy it from a US distributor, expect a 30%+ mark-up.
I am asking $350 for the sword, scabbard, belt, and shipping to continental USA.
I prefer PayPal, but will take a money order, too. I ship UPS.
