He calls this a "Mary Rose" replica, though it is of a style common in the 15th century. The hilt is extremely nice and this is the only replica I know of that has the guard plate attached by rivets through the ummm.... ballocks themselves as is described in many references, but rarely seen in replicas. The blade is single edged (with the false edge beveled for a few inches from the tip) and brightly polished, but not sharp. The blade uses a secondary bevel for the edge.
All in all, a very nice ballock dagger. I got it in trade for some calligraphy work I did, but I already have several nice ballock daggers, and so don't need another!
