A beautiful original 17th century North Italian cup hilt rapier from my collection, has pierced decoration on cup hilt with foliage and animals, snakes and monkeys etc. Blade is 114cm long and the whole thing has a strong and good feel to it. There are unknown marks on the inside near the handle, featuring green man style faces.
