This is a rare 1991 edition hardcover version of Oakeshott's Records of the Medieval Sword. This is one of those books you should have on your shelf if you love medieval swords. :) It's been printed in paperback many times, but only once in hardcover. The paperback versions are known to fall apart at the binding over time; newer printing have images that are less crisp. This is the durable hardcover edition that is difficult to find. I don't know of any others out there for sale at the moment.
This is in good shape for 30+ years old. There is slight yellowing from age around the edges of the pages, but not severe and not an impediment to enjoying the book in any way. There is a scuff on the upper left corner of the front cover (I've tried to picture it below). Other than that, it's in really good shape.
