Full title: Le Armature di S. Maria delle Grazie di Curtatone di Mantova e l'Armatura Lombarda del '400

This is one of the rarer titles in the pantheon of arms and armour books. It was published by Bramante in 1982 in a limited edition of 2,000 copies (this is #1560). It covers Lombardic armour of the 14th-15th centuries generally as well as a specific deposit of harnesses in a church in Mantova (Mantua). That deposit is one of the largest collections of armour of that region/era in the world. Text is in Italian. There are over 530 pictures (black and white and quite a few in color) of armour, period art, and the occasional weapon, plus around 200 line drawings and photos of armourer's marks. Overall, it's right about 300 pages.

Condition is very good. The cloth bound book itself is in very good shape. The dust jacket is in really good shape as well with just a bit of yellowing to the white text. Comes with an undecorated cardboard slipcase (not pictured) in good shape.
