Up for sale is a fantastic turn of the century Dao. Sharp blade is 26 1/4" long. Bronze hilt is 6 1/4" long including the guard. POB is 6 1/2".
Weight is about 2 1/3lbs so it's light and fast. There is a split you can see at the end of the horse head. The only other image I could find of a horse head Dao also had a similar flaw whish I assume was caused by a faulty mold process? I don't usually deal in oriental swords and I'm sure interested readers will know more about this sword then I do so feel free to comment.
