Here's a good example of this model. I've polished the blade a little to better match the highly polished guard and pommel. I also rounded the tip the slightest bit and blended the fuller to make it look more accurate for the type.
After the polish I noticed a couple blemishes - such as the scratch and a poorly blended area of the edge (arrows). Both these flaws are far from the main cutting area, though, and are minor. I would bet you'd find similar flaws on every model and they are just hard to notice when the blade isn't polished.
Nice and sharp with a convex edge... the stock edge was not sharp. I have cut a few bottles with it. It handles similar to an Albion Reeve with a little less broadness in the blade at the tip.
With scabbard. Only a few months old.
