Want to sell this Hanwei Saxon. It’s based on an Anglo-Saxon sword from the ninth century, currently in the Yorkshire Museum. The decoration of grip and scabbard are fair simile of the original. But the blade is the really interesting part. It’s one of the very few production swords with an actual pattern welded blade.
Some numbers:
Length: 86 cm
Blade lenght: 67.9 cm
Grip length: 15.3 cm
Weight: 1280 grams
As far as I know, Hanwei doesn’t make this type anymore. Shops that still stock it are asking pretty hefty prices. This sword is in excellent shape, only having served decorative purposes. It has never been cut with. Looking for 450 euros.

Posted this together with a Del Tin. That one’s already found a new home, but this Saxon is not getting any love. So, let’s drop the price range. Now looking at 325 euros.
