A beautifully decorated basket hilt tulwar. The basket hilt has a large spike like many Indian basket hilt tulwars. The hilt also has Silver Koftgari all over it, and has two layers of padding, leather and cushion. The blade is a huge, “Kamani” steel blade of the “tegha” variation. The blade widens towards the end right before it tapers again. The scabbard is also very good and durable. The “thokar” piece on the end also features excellent Koftgari. The sword is a great collectible piece but alongside it also serves as a practical training tool to understand the use and inportance of heavy Indian swords in Indian combat.
The price of the sword is $450 Canadian + shipping. Preferred method of payment is Paypal.
