Austrian or South German sword with old Napoleonic blade.
Probably an officer reusing an ancestral blade like they did on so many levels in the Austro-Hungarian army.

Hilt is the cavalry officer sword model 1850 and the blade is a blue-gilt in tremendous good shape with minimal loss at the top. The scabbard is surely not the matching one because of the throat which is for langets, fits well though.

Pretty good condition, sharkskin grip has some losses as shown in pics. Nothing loose.
