Hi all,
I'm selling a vladimir cervenka schiavona. I'm the second owner, I bought it half a year ago from another myArmoury forumer. No cutting, just dry handling and display.
I find this sword magnificent on all accounts, balance, aesthetics, etc. so much so that I can't think of anything I could do to improve it. Being fond of DIY projects, I've chosen to part with it to finance other endeavors.
The basket is very well made, and exibits a rough forge finish. It sits close to the hand without being in the way. As with most Cervenka, the blade has been patinated. The wire grip and Turkish knots are faultless. The previous owner had inscriptions etched in both fuellers (see below). Pommel is solid brass, scabbard is nicely done and fits the sword very well (leather).
The grip is extremely comfortable and gives many options as far as holding the sword is concerned (it features a thumb rest loop which gives great control over the blade). The sword weight 1.360g, feels very light in hand yet with significant blade presence.
I'm asking what I paid for this sword: 600$ + half shipping (US/UK preferably - expect around 50$ for internatinal shipping).
Thanks for looking!
J
Sold pending payment.
