It pains me to have to let this one go but unforeseen financial obligations have made this a necessity.

This is a recreation of an iconic type XI sword found in Oakshott's Records of the Medieval Sword. (XI.5.)

It feature a tea cozy pommel and a straight guard terminating in downturned beast heads.

I waited 5 years to have it made and it is an exquisite weapon. It is very light in the hand and move fluidly.

The hilt components are wrought iron. The blade is made of an iron core surrounded by Patrick Barta's hand made steel. The blade shows a lot of subtle visual activity. INOMINEDOMINI and GECILINMEFECIT are inlayed on either side of the blade surrounded by tiny dots to add contrast. The condition is excellent.

It's scabbard, also made by Patrick Barta, is included.

I am asking $1600.00 shipped to the continental US. My preferred payment is Paypal and the purchaser pays the Paypal fee.

The sword will be shipped in a gun case.
