This sword is an older MRL/Windlass offering (I bought it in 1998). I believe it was called the Medieval Bastard Sword, or something similar, and appears to be based on a sword from the Glasgow museum (XVa.2 from the Type XV Spotlight article.

The sword shows heavy patination, as you can see in the photos (along with a bright spot where the original lacquer never got cleaned off), but there is no active rust that I am aware of and no pitting. I sharpened the blade on this sword and also re-wrapped the grip. The original scabbard is included, but is wearing a bit at the tip (if you push a little bit, you can feel the blade through the leather).

I am asking $100 + shipping, but will consider other offers, including trade or partial trade for a similarly priced saex or spear head.
