I've decided to part with this sword. It is a custom-made gladius (mainz pattern) made by Matt Lukes in British Columbia. It is a very well-made sword. Matt is highly regarded for his craftmanship and attention to historical detail. As you can see from the pictures, the sword comes in an amazing scabbard made of tinned brass over a wooden core. Note that the blade is unsharpened.
