From top to bottom,
-mid19th c. cavalry saber, German made. These were adopted in Italy as the 1860 and also used in Germany, who knows where else. This one's unsharpened and still tight in its mountings. $300
-Italian m1871 saber featuring the camera di del Frate and quillback blade, there's a little looseness in the guard but it's still structurally sound. Comes with scabbard. $200
-a pair of well used German made fencing sabers, heavily scarred with broken blades. Their working life is over but they're still good for study. I had originally planned to dismount them and have them reproduced. $100 for the pair.
-U.S. made klewang with scabbard, arguably the last combat sword to serve a Western military. Made for the Dutch government in exile during WWII prior to the fall of its Indonesian colonies, adopted on a limited basis by U.S. forces in the Pacific. This one has an electro penciled number, possibly a soldier's serial number, on the ricasso; 351-10-8429. $125
-schirmsabel, training weapon for the cutlass above and related patterns. $125
All prices include shipping and paypal fees.
