For sale, 2X Viking axes.

1) A James Austin dane axe, 7 inch cutting edge. Welded harder steel bit on a softer steel body, incredibly sharp and enduring. He's melded the steel so perfectly gently striking the side with any metal or even your knuckle produces a clear, ringing note. If you haven't looked at James' work, highly recommend at forgedaxes.com, or on this website. Probably the best blacksmith in traditional Viking axes, made by purely original techniques. Size and weight could be for either single or double handed grip. Looking for 500 + SH OBO

2) Custom made 12" cutting edge dane axe, inscribed with runes. Differential softer mild steel body, harder cutting edge. Thicker bit, as originals. Extremely well made and hefty, definitely for 2 handed dane use only. 300 + SH OBO.
