I am selling my Del tin made, mid to late 14th century, Hounskull Bascinet. It bears the Del tin stamp on both helm basin and visor and is a pretty rare piece, probably hand-made by one of the Del tin brothers back in the 1980s or 1990's. The helm basin is constructed of two hand-beaten, welded halves - 16 or 18 gauge I would say. The visor especially has a beautiful pinch-nosed shape to it showing the quality of the armour that Del tin once turned out.
The helmet could be worn over a maille hood and/or clothe hood and will fit anyone from a medium sized head to large head like mine 24" circumference depending on the amount of padding you use. Just the basic original, nylon spider liner fitted at present. Helmet stand not included.
