I resharpened these by machine and hand. I blended it in with filing stones and polished both swords up to 600 grit. Both are pretty sharp, the 1904 being the sharper of the two. The 1852 is hard to sharpen properly but can be done as it is a narrow edge with a thick spine, being a pipe back after all. Both are pipe backs really. There's nothing wrong with them, I just need the money for other swords I'd rather have  I'm just tired of pipe backs and steel scabbards I suppose :p The conditions on both weapons are good, but the Austrian scabbard has some rust on it, nothing that won't polish off rather easily.
