Got a fantastic rare presentation sword here, in fantastic condition for its age, made by Hobsons, Straight blade, Scabbard in good nick with no dents. Proved stamped. The etching and blade decoration goes almost to the tip of the blade, one side reads "Presented to Quartermaster H.Gisborne by the Sergeants Robin Hood Rifles On his promotion Febuary 21st 1895" other side shows the bow and horn cypher "Vocatus paratus" as well as VR. The etching is beautiful and my awful mobile camera doesn't do this piece justice, lovely thing with a bit of history and for a rare unit.
