FOR SALE: Castle Keep Sword: I just got this sword this week. It was made in March of this year. it is in the same condition as when it left their workshop.
So you are looking at a new sword. Although I enjoy the little idiosyncrasies of hand made swords, I just don't warm up to this one. I think I prefer some of my other customs and I have to pick and chose very carefully which few I keep.
Sword is handmade, of course.
Weight 2.7 pounds
31.5 blade.
I will take $1450 shipped in the mainland US.
I prefer check or MO, but if you want to use PayPal I will split the 3% fee with you.
If interested please contact me at

End of the month bump and new price $1350.
I just can't take much more of a loss on this new sword.
Thanks
Robert
Well it seems that no one likes this sword on myArmoury, Well, I might be interested in a trade for a Migration era sword around the $1400 mark.
Thanks
Robert

Bump. Very Last price reduction I can afford. I'll take $1200 shipped in the US.

That link should show a larger hi def photo. I have to have a check or MO as Paypal is at the limit where another transaction will have them declare me a business to the IRS, even though I have taken a great loss selling off my collection.

In response to several emails, the major problem I have with this sword is that the guard is not mounted as straight as I would like. Please see the close up I have posted. the blade is not perfectly straight, which is common in customs and something I expected. The person who commissioned the sword and sold it to me, refused to stand behind his deal and said he could not afford to refund. Since I can only keep a few swords, this one is not the best that I want.
It handles well, and there is nothing wrong with the functioning of the sword. I just am not happy with the sword.
Rob Millers of Castle Keep swords has told me that he will correct any issues with the sword, when he can work it in later this winter. So in the spirit of that an to cover the costs of shipping it to him and back, I will take $1050 check or MO and I'll insure it and ship it.
