The gentleman I bought this from said that it was a river-find. I can't remember which river, and either way it was probably an excuse for it's 'relic' condition!
You can see by the photos that the blade it corroded at the tip. The quillon has also broken off. It retains its wire-wrap: whether this is original or not I can't be sure, but it looks comparably aged. The grip is also loose, but still fixed to the blade.
