I just purchased this and

It just doesn't fit my needs and would like to find it a new home.

The previous owner said that it was made by a local(unnamed) swordsmith and cost him $700.

I purchased it from him for $400 a couple of weeks ago, to be honest, I expected better for a $700 blade.

I've added better photos to show some issues.

It has a bone handle and the blade finish is good, but I find that it wanders a bit too much for me. It has a rustic feel and is definately does not look machine made.. Good for re-enactment

Knife is 28.5 inches and weights 1.2 LB. The blade is lively and not wippy
