This is an interesting piece. If anyone can shed any light on its origins that would be cool. I got this sword in a swap with a guy many years ago. I had a viking sword made by Rob Miller with a whale bone handle and silver furniture. Rob made the viking sword for a guy who fell on hard times and was unable to pay Rob when the time came. Rob offered it to me and I bought it. About two years after that the guy who originally had asked Rob to make it got in touch with Rob and he sent him to me. I liked the dude was delighted that he had sorted his life out and agreed to swap. This is how I ended up with this lovely sword. Its been antiqued with a deer bone handle. The basket is lovely and it feels great in the hand. $500 shipped included is the scabbard.
