Needs force more sacrifices so yet another piece of my collection goes to the block (which leaves me with some bits of armor and a rondel dagger at the moment). I got this DelTin DT 5156 new from Art Elwell about a year ago. Its a nice large sword that feels good in the hand. Is it sharp?
Standard Deltin edge as shipped from Italy. So it has what I would describe as a 1 mm rebated edge. I've seen it posted a few times that Italy has restrictions of some sort around sharpened swords which is why Deltin does the edge it does from the factory. It could be sharpened quite easily by somebody with the tools and desire.
