Hello there
I have a museum replicas 15th century long sword.
I have stripped it down from its typical shineness found on them when new. And did a oil blackening to the pommel and the hilt furniture and slightly antigued the blade. The blueing gives it a almost blackish blue hue to it but once in the sun it shows blues purples red ect. But still remanin almost black
The blade its self was just the typical vinegar and salt water treatment to give it a aged look. Not rusty but looks of a sword that saw service.
Id like to sell for 175 shipped or trade for a poleaxe, halberd, mace warhammer what have you as long as its a pole weapon. Also Merc tailor arms 15th- 16th century
Thanks for looking.
Christopher
I cannot give pics at this time but stand behind my word that if your dissatified Ill gladly take it back and remburse you if you pay half for shipping.
Thanks again
Has in been sharpened, or does it have the standard 1mm or so Windlass edge?
It has been sharpened. But looks profesional.
It cuts through bottles cardboard fruit and such like any decent cutter.
Willing to trade on pole/ impact weapons. Could be just the heads if need be. Or a trade/cash type of deal,
Let me knows
