Hello all,
I have for sale a custom 14-16gage Churburg style breast plate and pauldrons.
The breastplate has hand dyed veg. tanned straps and is made of 14 to 16 gage steel (some parst must be thinner ofcourse).
This is a custom piece I originally paid $900 for a few years ago. I will have pics. up in a few days. It is in very good condition, I have used it as display only, no rust/dents/etc.
It will fit larger people.
The pauldrons are designed to follow the lines of the breastplate and move very well.
The entire set was hand forged.
Asking $400 plus shipping which will depend on buyers location.

I accidently said "This is a custom piece I originally paid $900 for", what I meant to say was "This is NOTa custom piece I originally paid $900 for it". Thank god I noticed before it sold, I'd have felt like a total a**hole.
If interested I purchased this at a Renaissance Faire in Minnesota, I did pay $900. In retrospect I paid to much, hence the lower price now. I do not know the type of steel, only the gauge. It comes complete with a certificate of authenticity.
I apologize for the typo from the bottom of my heart, it has been to long so I can't modify the original post.
My bad, I feel like an idiot.
Sincerely,
Charles [/b]
How bout $350
I hate to do this as I paid so much more, and it's such a nice piece.
