Locally made with an epee tri-blade. The blade is old and has slight warps, point is semi-sharp. Cup is heavy aged brass, guard is steel, grip is twisted steel wire, pommel and matching ferrules are brass. Length is 42" (107cm).
This is a nice vintage looking rapier, good for demonstrations.

To me it handles like a dream but hey, it's mine after all... ;)
Seriously, the heavy cup gives it a superb balance and additional weight for better control. the Point of Balance is just 1" down from the cup. The space within the knuckle bow is 3" - wide enough for 3-finger grasp, with the index finger placed ahead of the crossguard, on a brass sleeve that protects the ricasso. The rapier weighs 700 grams, about 1.5 pound.
