For starters, I want to state that I do sincerely regret posting a “for sale” post here – with only 1 post to my name on this forum. I will work to remedy my “newness” shortly. For those who might wish to do so, please feel free to check my references as “warriorsociologist” and “rigormootis” on related auction & topical forums. I have 10+ years of 100% positive feedback everywhere else I have participated…but alas, I am only now beginning to “get into” swords and sorting out my preferences. I look forward to contributing here.
OK, here’s the ad:
I have 2 swords and 1 trainer for sale. All are 100% new/unused/un-messed-around-with. When each arrived in the mail, it was wiped down and stored in a safe. That’s it. However, the economy (no raises or bonuses this year) combined with the (happy) “oops” of our next little one’s pending birth this spring has prompted me to do a little downsizing.
(1) Albion “The Crecy”. This one has an oxblood grip. It will be shipped in its original shipping container. It is 100% pristine. $775 shipped. (This sword is normally $830 shipped from Albion - plus a ~ 3 month wait). If you need specific pictures of parts of this sword, just let me know and I’ll take as many as you like.
(2) “Brotherbanzi-made” HDPE Longsword Trainer/Waster (version 2.0 – with the steel cross guard) This one was built to roughly match the length/weight/POB of the Albion Crecy.
OAL = 47"
Blade length = 35 3/4"
POB = 4 1/4" - 4 1/2" from cross
Weight = just under 3 lbs.

(3) AoV/DBK-customized Windlass “Oakeshott Type-XIV Arming Sword.” This sword has received the full treatment for serious work – and good looks. It has been hand-sharpened by Brian/DBK and it also has the PD2 pommel insert and Brian’s “High End” custom black cord/leather-wrapped handle. It comes with the standard scabbard. It is 100% pristine. Attached below is an actual picture of it taken before it was shipped to me (and since then, it has been in the safe).
$285 shipped (this sword w/ mods. would normally cost ~ $350 shipped + waiting (220 + 20 + 18 + 70 + ~ 25 shipping)).
I can take paypal (add 3%) or money orders. I will consider shipping outside of the CONUS, but buyer is responsible to extra shipping and knowing the laws where they live.
