French sabre for Light cavalry officers, 1st generation (pre-1830).

OK condition, the hilt is clean, the grip in excellent shape and the scabbard in near perfect condition but the blade has suffered from extensive pitting on both sides.
The blade is stamped with poincons that are unreadable. It is a private purchase so no markings on the spine of blade or on the scabbard.
