This is the second batch of items that I am selling to help raise money for my wedding this summer. As with the other stuff I am selling, please let me know if you are interested or want more information.
From top to bottom:
Windlass Russian Kindjal – Like new condition. Unsharpened. Never used for anything but dry handling; and very little of that. This piece came from Atlanta Cutlery. $50 + shipping.
Windlass Falcata – Very good condition. Has been sharpened by me. There are a few scratches on the blade, but overall still very nice. Hilt still has most of its lacquer, but there are a few scratched in this (see close-up (last picture). Hilt has a tendency to “click” if a swing is stopped abruptly. $150 + shipping.
Windlass “Archer's Short Sword” – Good condition. Has been sharpened by me. I do not recall what I used to remove the lacquer, but it was obviously abrasive. As a result, the finish is more matte than originally intended (this can be corrected with a scotchbrite pad). Also, there is still lacquer on the blade near the guard (see close-up (last picture). The grip was re-wrapped by me with chamois. I dyed it green with weeds/grass, but the color has faded. Some shoe polish or leather dye could make this grip any color you want. Structurally this sword is never sound. $125 + shipping.
I believe MRL called this the “Winged Partisan.” Made by Windlass. Very good condition. Unsharpened. A few small stains on the blade and socket and one long-ish scratch at the point of the blade. $30 + shipping.
All items will ship insured via USPS parcel post unless otherwise requested. If you would like any of these items shipped to you in a gun case, please let me know.
