I have an A&A Italian 3 ring rapier, which can be viewed here:
http://www.myArmoury.com/review_aa_ni.html
I bought it from Nathan a few months ago. As you can see from the review, A&A has modified it to have a larger blade than the normal stock piece. The blade is both longer and wider (looks more like the Two Ring rapier's blade). It's a heftier rapier than what a lot of people may be used to, but not at all out of historic proportions, and really is quite nice. The rapier has a few very minor nicks in the edge, but overall is in excellent condition. Comes with a basic A&A black scabbard, of which the tip is a little beat up.
I like this rapier, and have been debating whether or not to keep it. But on the other hand, I'm interested in other A&A swords, or potentially other makers as well, which is why I want to trade, and not sell. If you've got something you'd like to trade, drop me a PM and we'll talk.
Things I'd definately be interested in:
Gustav Vasa rapier
German rapier
Saxon military sword
Musketeer rapier
Durer longsword
Lord of Milan sword
15th century two hander
Naturally, these aren't the only ones I'm interested in. So, if you've got something (A&A or otherwise), please drop me a line.
(By the way, I've got plenty of ATrims already, so unless if yours is Christian Fletcherized or otherwise special, I'm probably not too interested.)
bump
Any takers at all?
Its a piece I love but the timing is poor for me with three new pieces arrived in under a month and nothing to trade. :\
Bump.
While I'd prefer a trade, I would definately consider it if someone made me a reasonable offer.
Just sent you a PM over on SFI
Traded!
Thanks to everyone who made me offers.
