I have for sale a Tanjavur double-recurve bow by Java Man Archery LLC. Here is some info from his site including materials used in the bow's construction, along with a short description: "Tanjavur: Gancalo Alves Riser with Chacte Kok Accents. Chacte Kok and Bamboo Lams." "A Royal Line from Southern India" Styled after the double recurve bows of South East Asia. The set back and deflexed handle, combined with a semi-static slight recurves, make this bow one of the smoothest drawing and fastest shooting bows I offer. With no hand shock." This bow was made back in 2004, #282, and draws at 45# @ 28". I purchased this bow through The Krackow Archery Company back in 2005, and shot with it on ten occasions before moving on to a bow that pulled less #...(I was just starting out) Since then I have kept the bow stored in it's sock, taking it out only to wipe down, restring, and admire. This bow is in NEW condition, and absolutely gorgeous! Retails for $575 according to Java Man's site. I'm asking $400 including s/h in U.S. Bow sock and stringer included.
