Hello folks,
I've been searching for some early Medieval style blades lately. My budget isn't huge, so it's been confined to Del Tin or Albion Squire line pieces.
I could also extend it to quality Windlass pieces like the Windlass European sword, which I used o own and I think was the highest quality blade of its sort to come from Museum Replicas.
As many of you know I have been customizing Japanese swords for a while, so recently i decided to try customizing a European blade again for a change. So blades that have been cut with, need a cold peening, or a bit of a spit and polish shine are okay, though pricing will vary accordingly of course.
Perhaps my favorite blade from Del Tin was the 2133. A heafty but VERy well balanced blade. it felt like a lighter blade with *oomph* as opposed to a heavy blade with balance. Doubt there are many of those floating around though.
