I have for sale a sword crafted by Vladimir Cervenka, the Czech Republic's leading swordsmith (with a two year waiting list for any new orders). 14-15th centuries, western and middle European in style, tempered Si-Cr steel, 51 HRC.
Wire wrapped hilt and the blade has a shallow fuller. Total length: 1190 mm; Blade length: 950 mm; Blade width: 52 mm
The edge is 1mm blunt so the sword is suitable for longsword fencing.
The scabbard is made of poplar, felt lined, covered in 3oz black leather and has a polished steel tip guard. No belt or attachments though.
Pictures are available.
Asking price for everything is $500 CDN

Gosh... do you have more pictures of this sword ? Guard, point, profile, etc... ?
Payment sent.
Sword received !
The transaction went very smoothly, and Mr. Eglinton sent me the sword very quickly. I received it yesterday and both the sword and the scabbard are really nice pieces. Can't wait to fence with it. :)
All my thanks to Mr. Eglinton and myArmoury forum by the way.

Fence with it?!!! IMHO that sword is too nice to get nicked and banged up fencing with it! ;-) Besides the tip is bit sharp for fencing with friends.
Enjoy it though, it looks to be a nice sword! ;-)

Well, time will tell. Having seen it first hand, the sword seems proper for some light fencing. The point control is great so the pseudo-sharp tip should not be a problem.
As per this Forum's Rules, this is not a discussion forum. Quick feedback about a successful transaction is appreciated, but an ongoing dialog is better left elsewhere.
