I'm offering--AS A SET--a 15th c. European infantry spear and a halberd in the distinctively south-German style of ca. 1500. The spear is a heavily-modified Hanwei "Viking Throwing Spear" mounted on a poplar haft. The halberd is by an unknown maker (not Windlass) and mounted on pressure-treated pine. $300 Shippped in CONUS.

Sean,
Is the spearhead one piece?
How solid is the halberd? Is the head welded?
I am broke but my friend is in the market sort of for a halberd.

The halberd is pending but the spear is still available. The spear has a split socket, which I closed with hammer and compression by rivet. The spear alone is $80 shipped CONUS.
The halberd is available again, either solo or with the spear.
Do you know the material for the halberd head?

High-carbon steel, but I don't know the number. It's very well made--much more robust than the Windlass version I saw many years ago.

Excellent, I was hoping it wasn't mild or stainless. Didn't look it from the picture, but wanted to ask to confirm.
I will take the set. PM me your paypal address, please.
