New World Arbalest Crossbow

Original: Danish, circa 1450-1500

This New World Arbalest crossbow is a replica of a Danish design, which was popular from 1450 to 1500. The stock is fashioned from walnut with an ash veneer. The piece features a horn nut and iron furniture. The stave is of 75-80 pounds draw weight.
