Atelier Thibaud 'Cawood Sword' in the works
Hi all,

I commissioned an accurate version of the Cawood sword from Atelier Thibaud in France, and they have been sending me some very cool development videos and pictures. You can see them here:

(hope I did that correctly)

That's pretty darn cool. Bloomery iron? That's amazing. I'm jealous! :)

Thanks Chad.

Originally I asked for modern mono steel but they convinced me to expand the project.

Had to sell my Tritonia to raise the funds, but hopefully worth it!

That looks very promising!
I often overlook Atelier Thibaud because of Gael Fabre's towering achievements in France, but both workshops produce top-notch work (even if Fabre is in a league of his own imo).
You should go and pick it up in person in Carcassonne :)
For history amateurs, it doesn't get much better than this place; the town is a sight to behold!
