Check out their 2007 catalogue. That Federschwert on page 78 sounds very promising:

There is also a very interesting new Viking sword on page 76. Wierd though, as it is only about 32 inches long total.

I know the prototypes of the Fechtfedern and they are very promising. Especially good was the cross section. The blade has the strongest bending in the last third so that you can go into binds without problems. Quite good if you like Federn. Until now the amongst best I have handled so far.

They also seem to have the new models of all the practical sabres ready, I can't wait to get my hands on a new Hutton Sabre.

Hello Herbert,
I gather from the above that you've actually handled some of these swords. I currently require my students to use the Fechterspiel from Arms and Armor, but some of them have difficulty affording that, so finding a cheaper alternative--as logn as it works as well--would be great. Have you handled the A&A Fechterspiel? if so, how would you compare the two? How thick are these blades just ahead of the Schilt? How wide are they at the tip--the picture makes them look somewhat too narrow.
Thanks for any insights you can give!
Regards,
Hugh
