Somebory help me for this especification :

Profile taper: 3 inches to 2.1 inches at final curve to point
Distal taper: .24 inch at base; 50% taper to point

No understend this

No idea of Profile or Distal taper

Thanks and good bye

Maximiliano,
Please have a look at this article: http://www.myArmoury.com/feature_properties.html

Profile taper is the taper in width of the blade. Distal taper is taper in blade thickness from hilt to tip. So the Conan blade is 3 inches wide and narrows to 2.1 inches wide before the final curve to the blade point.

The blade is .21 inches thick and gets thinner by 50% between base and tip. In the case of this review and some other older ones, the term "Distal taper" followed by measurements should really be "Blade thickness" followed by the measurements.

Happy
