Introducing the first of hopefully many Lundemo-Belair. The sword is for a school project and will be the first sword I helped create. The sword is an Oakeshott type XIV. I based the design on several different swords of that type to create a sword that was archeologically accurate, while still being original. I left the tip a little wider than you usually see on the blade type, it is a nod To Oakeshott’s little type XIV “Moonbrand”.
The fuller is hand ground by John. The hand ground fuller gives the sword a more accurate look than the super clean parallel lines of a milling machine. The cross was hand forged by John to give it the elegant curve.
The stats are as follows
Total length: 36 ½
Blade length: a hair under 30
Blade width at base: 3
Balance point: 4 ½
Sweet spot (COP): about 20-22
Weight: 3 pounds 2 ounces
I want to thank John for all the work he put into this sword and for fixing all my mistakes.

I would like this sword better if it was posted in the marketplace as opposed to the markers place

Verrrry nice work! I love the lines of the sword. The type XIV is one of my favorites.

Just so you folks know, the pommel was keyed onto tang and was peened. I mostly do everything this way now. Sean was also wanting historical accuracy for this piece. Good luck at school Sean, hope you get an A for the project.

Although the length of the blade is not great, the width is beefy. This one must be a super cutter. The lines are very pleasing and overall fit and finish are top notch. Great work John. I still have my two-hander in mind and will be getting with you this summer.

Hey, nice sword Sean and John. I would like to see more type XIV like this one. A multi-fullered one would be great. 
Is it possible to know what is the text engraved in the fuller ?

The first inscription is In Nomine Domini and the second is my family motto
Certavi Et Vici “I have fought and conquered"
and there are little Maltese crosses separating each word
