I ask, because different photos will show up if people just copy-past the URL from address bar, depending on how they're sorting through the albums.

The stat in the info area named "Direct link to this photo" is the correct URL.

Here's a quick (and amusing) translation:

Halbarte South German, in the style around 1500. Strong swung sheet with pointedly approaching impact blade, point decoration, cross-shaped break-through and three deep star shaped forging marks. At the back four-sharp-edged thorn. Two in the lower quarter tordierte shank feathers/springs on wood shank. Length 208 cm.

One other cool thing about the albums is that you can comment on each photo and start a "dialog" about the photographs right in the albums. If people really start to take advantage of this feature, it could lead to a smaller discussion topic type thing that is specific to each image.

It's easiest to go into the albums and hit the "Last Comments" button to see the most recent things added. You can also go into a specific album and then choose "Last Comments" just to limit it to that album's photos.

It's not really being used yet, but it will be interesting to see if it ends up being appealing to anyone. I think it has potential, but then again, I love talking about specific swords and whatnot. :)

Southern German, in a style c. 1500 [indicating that this might be a later reproduction]. Stout, curved blade with a thrusting point, decorated with points, cross-shaped cutout and three deep, star-shaped smith's marks. On the backside, there's a square point. In the lower quarter, there's two [tordierte] langets along the wooden pole. Length 208 cm.
