For Sale: I have for sale a sword and jacket that belonged to my grandfather and I am over 60. The sword is a light cavalry sword with scabard and both are in very good condition. Stamped on one side of the hilt of the sword is " US over J F over 1865"On the other side of the hilt is stamped "Ames Arms Mfg. Chicapee, Mass " The jacket I believe is from the indian wars as well as the sword. The jacket has All twelve originals butoons ,front and back in place intact as well as the two sleeve buttons. The jacket itself is in good shape. Some pictures below
